Next time I will go here. I did manage to get a very delicious N.Y. bagel one morning while navigating past and through the jewellery district. It was carefully wrapped in both aluminum foil and paper so the warmth from the toasting wouldn't fade until I arrived at my destination. Learn L.A., learn.

We 'fed exed' our John's pizza the N.Y. way - by a yellow cab to our hotel room where we wolfed it down with some white wine (elegantly poured into plastic cups.)

What makes a person watch the PBS channel in the middle of the night? Insomnia. They had some kind of fund raiser going on and were showing a recording called Celtic Woman. Chloe Agnew's voice is one of if not the most pure and beautiful voice I have ever heard. You can listen to Sarah Brightman's version of Nella Fantasia and judge for yourself - I personally don't like that vibrato voice as much as a clear and pure voice.

The following morning I marched over to the computer and ordered the CD. I'm going to play it when I'm alone in my car as to avoid embarrassing my husband. I might also play it when I am home alone cleaning the bathroom. And at Christmas when I visit my family. They'll like it.
