While awake...

One day I will say to those who follow me that it was worth it. I will be thankful for every day that brought me a new lesson, a new chance to learn more.
One day.
One day I will know that certain things are of more importance than others, and I will feel peace in knowing that my struggle with this has brought me where I am now.

Today I am greatful that I have a few but very dear people near me.

---
When You are Old

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars

While awake...

I'm back at work, which means that Coffee Bean has to work overtime to provide me with its French Vanilla roasted coffee each morning.
A lot of irons in the fire. I'm almost beginning to feel like an American...

While awake...

Periodically I let my vast readership know about the most heavenly eau de perfume found for $60 or less.
Fresh Fig Apricot

And no, I did not write the customer review but am now eagerly awaiting the effects of this wonderful poition.
How could one not love a scent reminiscent of a "rich dreamy moment spent gazing at a Renaissance painting..."?
While awake...

Sigh, since I don't have children I really shouldn't say anything...

but!

Helsingin Sanomat again has an article that just made me swallow my glass of white wrong. It's titled Thousands of children in day care while parent stays at home. It really is sad to watch the lack of backbone and... strength (?) in certain parents today. Don't get me wrong. I love my country dearly, but this is simply and clearly a misuse of an already too generous government.

I will bring you good news from Finland when I hear some!
